About the Founder – Amber Paxton

Founded by Amber Paxton, Percent Pilates is built on a unique blend of fashion expertise and a deep passion for movement. Amber holds a First-Class degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising from Manchester Metropolitan University and spent five successful years at leading online retailer VERY in Liverpool, where she headed key departments including childrenswear and later worked closely alongside Michelle Keegan on her VERY fashion line.

In March 2025, Amber took the leap to pursue her dream of owning her own Pilates business, founding Percent Pilates, which now boasts a team of five specialist instructors delivering Reformer, Mat, and Yoga classes. Drawing on her years within the fashion industry and her hands-on experience as a studio owner, Amber designed the Percent Pilates grip sock collection to combine elegance, performance, and comfort—creating premium studio wear that enhances confidence, stability, and enjoyment in every Pilates workout.

Looking ahead to 2026, Amber will expand the Percent Pilates brand with the launch of her own curated line of ladies’ weights, Pilates mats, and studio accessories. Designed with the same uncompromising attention to detail and material quality, the weights will feature a distinctive design and refined feel, created specifically for professional-level performance at home—bringing studio-grade equipment into beautifully considered, everyday training.
