Join us at Percent Pilates and experience a workout crafted to support your journey — progressing, improving, and growing, one percent at a time.

Why the name “Percent”?

At Percent Pilates, your progress is uniquely designed for you. Inspired by the precision of Pilates, we quantify your journey using our unique % system — defining your current level, tracking your growth, and challenging you to move beyond yesterday’s limits. Whether you arrive at 60% or strive for 110%, every class is designed to meet you exactly where you are and elevate your strength, control, and endurance, one percent at a time.

Why is the %PILATES workout more strengthening than traditional reformer Pilates?

At %PILATES, we’ve elevated the reformer experience through our exclusive, structured method, designed to maximize strength, endurance, and precision. Founded by Amber Paxton—who has trained and experimented with various Pilates styles since 2020—our approach builds on the rich heritage of Pilates while pushing boundaries to deliver results.

Pilates, created in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, was originally developed to help rehabilitate injured soldiers using springs and bodyweight resistance. By the 1920s, the method gained prominence in New York, especially among dancers and performers seeking injury rehabilitation, muscular balance, and deep core stability without high-impact strain.

Traditional Pilates focuses on core strength, flexibility, posture, and control through low-impact exercises using bodyweight and resistance—often on a mat or reformer—to promote long, lean muscles and improved alignment.

Our %PILATES method amplifies these principles by integrating targeted resistance, controlled tempo, and multi-directional movements on custom-designed reformers, creating a workout that challenges your muscles more deeply and efficiently. This results in a stronger, more balanced body that moves with greater power and resilience—delivered with the precision and flow only %PILATES can provide.

How does %PILATES differ?

Rooted in the original Pilates principles but elevated through innovation, %PILATES draws inspiration from strengthening style workouts known for delivering faster, more exciting results.

Our unique approach begins with custom-designed reformer beds featuring 8 springs instead of the standard 5, allowing for greater resistance and versatility. We blend this with Miami-inspired, high-intensity yet low-impact workouts that take Pilates to the next level.

Our method focuses on:

  • Continuous tension to sculpt and tone muscles more efficiently
  • Slow, controlled movements for deep, precise muscle activation
  • Seamless, no-rest transitions to keep your heart rate elevated and metabolism ignited
  • Comprehensive full-body sessions that fuse strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility

At %PILATES, we don’t just train your body — we transform it, one percent at a time.

What is Infrared Mat Pilates?

Infrared Mat Pilates combines our signature %PILATES workout, with the transformative benefits of infrared heat — for a pilates class that sculpts, strengthens, and elevates you from the inside out.

Unlike traditional heated rooms that rely on forced air or high humidity, infrared heat penetrates deep into the muscles, warming your body—not just the space around you. This allows for greater flexibility, reduced inflammation, faster recovery, and deeper detoxification. You’ll sweat more efficiently, move more fluidly, and feel results long after class ends.

Layered with intentional mat-based movement, you’ll build strength, refine control, and connect to your core with precision. Prepare to sweat, sculpt, and elevate your % in a way that’s smarter, cleaner, and more effective.

It’s not just heat — it’s healing. And it works as hard as you do.

Booking and Attendance

How early should I arrive?

We start classes right on time, so we recommend arriving about 10 minutes early. This gives you plenty of time to get settled, use our changing rooms and lockers, and get comfortable in the space. If it’s your first visit, we’ll give you a quick studio tour, help you get set up, and make sure you feel 100% ready for your class.

To keep the flow and focus for everyone, we kindly ask that latecomers aren’t admitted once class has started. This helps us avoid any disruptions and gives you the best possible experience.

What should I bring to class?

Be sure to bring grippy socks, which are required for class and available for purchase at reception if you don’t have them yet. Don’t forget a water bottle to stay hydrated while you move, sweat, and have fun. And most importantly just bring yourself—and your best energy! We provide all the equipment you’ll need.

Can I book a class online?

Absolutely! Booking is quick and easy through our app or website. Just create an account, pick your class, and reserve your spot in seconds.

If you run into any trouble, feel free to reach out to us via Instagram DM, email us at support@percentpilates.com, or WhatsApp at 07889 269628 — we’re here to help!

What is the cancellation policy?

We get it — life happens. You can cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before class without a fee. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full.

Special Considerations

I have an injury — am I welcome?

Absolutely, your safety and well-being are our top priorities. If you have a significant injury, we strongly recommend starting with private sessions, where our instructors can tailor the workout specifically to your needs and ensure a safe, effective practice.

If you’re already a regular client who knows your limits well, we can often accommodate you in group classes. However, please understand that for major injuries, instructors need to redesign the entire class plan for individual care, which is why private sessions are usually the best option to support your recovery and progress.

If you’re unsure what’s best for you, please reach out to us before attending class. Sometimes, injuries may be too complex for a group environment, and in those cases, we may kindly ask you to attend private sessions instead. This decision is always made with the safety and experience of the whole class in mind

Can I attend Reformer classes while pregnant?

Yes, many pregnant clients safely enjoy Reformer Pilates — but it’s important to approach it thoughtfully. We strongly recommend attending our Introduction to % (Beginner) class, where the pace is slower and modifications can be safely and effectively provided.

Please note that when you're pregnant, our instructors are required to offer specific adaptations, which is why we prefer you to join beginner-level sessions.

Always consult with your healthcare provider before starting or continuing any exercise during pregnancy. If you're new to Pilates or have particular concerns, our private sessions offer personalised support tailored to your needs and stage of pregnancy.
